The House of the Jade Lantern is the personal gaming blog and support site for the author’s roleplaying campaigns and one-shots, miniature gaming of all sorts, and rambling.
History
The House of the Jade Lantern website has been online and in continual operation since 1998 (barring the occasional web host jump and maintenance outages). We originally started as a website offering guidance, resources, and examples for players and GMs of Legends of the Five Rings (L5R) roleplaying game and similarly themed games. The site is one of the oldest support sites for L5R.
Over time, the site has grown to encompass several campaigns, one-shots, convention games, and guidance.
The site provides a wide range of player and GM resources for purposes of inspiring, assisting and enabling the readers’ games. Materials are provides free of charge and are for personal use only unless otherwise noted.The artwork and decorations used on the pages are all taken from copy-right free sources, licensed sources, or with permission granted.
No AEG, Inc. artwork has been harmed in the making of this web site.
